PURPOSE:To effectively take out a veneer without fail by mounting a taking-out pin device provided with a pin to be pirced through the veneer on a rotatable endless band and attaching the endless band provided with said device to a rockable supporting frame. CONSTITUTION:A chain is turned at the operation of a device with the actuation of a geared motor 14, and positioned to one prescribed position of the pin device 17 mounted on a supporting plate 15 and stopped. Then, the pin device 17 is allowed to make close contact with a veneer 3 on the uppermost part of the pin device while rocking downward a frame 8 by means of a cylinder 10. Then, the veneer 3 is held by piercing a pin 24 through the veneer 3 while driving the cylinder 16, and in this held state, the veneer 3 is pulled up by rocking upward the frame 8. Successively, the veneer 3 is conveyed to a veneer positioning device 5 via a conveyance port 29 while allowing the front part of the veneer to slide by again actuating the motor 14 and turning the chain 13. |
