PURPOSE:To improve the battery saving effect of a radio telephone set by managing a control area while being divided into group areas so as to extend the battery saving period. CONSTITUTION:The automatic connection of an outgoing/incoming call is attained in a prescribed service area by using a radio telephone set 2, radio connection devices A1-A3, B1, B2, C1 and a radio line controller 1. When the radio telephone set 2 moves from a group area A to a group area B, the on-timing of a receiver is revised from a conventional battery saving period BS into the BS/N and a notice signal from each group area is sent continuously by a time of (BS/N)+alpha. Thus, the battery saving period is decided by each group area, the period is extended more than a conventional period. Thus, the effect of battery saving is improved. |
