PURPOSE:To improve water-proofness and light-fastness by providing an ink receptor layer consisting of a poly(dialkanolallylamine) derivative expressed by a specific formula on a base, as an ink jet recording medium. CONSTITUTION:An ink receptor layer consisting of a poly(dialkanolallylamine) derivative expressed by the formula I [A represents a tertiary and/or a quaternary dialkanolamino group expressed by a formula II and/or a formula III (R1, R2 represent the hydroxylalkyl group having carbon number of 2-3, R3 hydrogen, the alkyl group having carbon number of 1-2, X<-> halogen, anions of CH3SO4<-> and C2H5SO4<->) and 'n' integers of 10-1,000] is provided on a base to form an ink jet recording medium. This recording medium improves the water-proofness and coloration of a recording image as well as the light- fastness and ozone resistance of a black print image. |
