PURPOSE:To obtain a laminated photosensitive body having excellent electrophotographic characteristics and mechanical strength by using an alcohol soluble nylon resin as an essential component of an under coating layer and incorporating a homopolymer or copolymer resin of a nitrogen-contg. vinyl monomer as a binder into an electric charge generating layer. CONSTITUTION:The under coating layer consisting of the alcohol soluble nylon resin is provided on the conductive base. The charge generating layer formed by dispersing a charge generating material mainly consisting of an org. pigment into the homopolymer (homopolymer) or copolymer resin (copolymer) of the vinyl monomer contg. the nitrogen (in the side chain) is provided thereon. An electric charge transfer layer is further provided thereon. The laminated photosensitive body with which the excellent electrophotographic characteristics are obtd. and which has the excellent mechanical strength is thereby obtd.
