PURPOSE:To obtain the system of high precision by inputting the pressure of the seal printed surface of a seal print as multi-level information. CONSTITUTION:For a means for making the pressure of the seal printed surface into a multi-level picture, a pressure sensitive organic film 2 whose density changes by pressure is used and pressure information from the seal printed surface of the seal print 1 is inputted to a controller 4 from an image scanner 3. inputted information is stored in a large capacity storage device 6 as multi- level picture information. A display 5 displays the inputted picture, displays and compares a seal impression pressed on a slip. The controller 4 compares multi-level information of the registered seal impression with that pressed on slip. Fainted and lacked parts are those different from the registered seal impression and are counted as discrepancy in a conventional method. On the contrary, they are taken for satisfactory coincidence information in this invention, whereby the seal print can be decided with high precision.
