<p>In an endless pressing shell made of a cast elastomer for a pressing device for treating strip materials, in particular for application in a papermaking machine with reinforcements embedded in superimposed layers in a hardened material surrounding the pressing shell, only two layers of reinforcing threads are provided. The axially aligned longitudinal threads (15) form the inner layer on which the peripheral threads (16) are spirally wound. In this way, a pressing shell of very high strength is obtained.</p> |
