A process for the manufacture of easy-to-handle moulder parts made of paper waste comprises a size reduction process (10), a first part of a conveying process (18), and a conveying process (13). In the conveying process (13), the size-reduced paper waste is conveyed to a mixing and compaction process (15) during which the adhesive compound which dissolves by itself on the addition of water during the first part of the conveying process (18) and towards the end of the conveying process (13), and the compound which dissolves due to wetting of the fibres, are reconstituted during moulding of the parts and yield, after evaporation and cooling, a bulk product which can be easily handled. Also described is a device for implementing the process, which comprises a size-reduction system (10), an intermediate conveyor (18) with a secondary size-reduction function, an extruder (13) having a conveying part in the region of which water is added by means of a nozzle (5), and a conical mixing and compacting part (15) which effects the moulding of the parts in a conical die orifice. These parts leave the die orifice and are positioned between the jaws (59) of a clamping device with which the mould pressure of the extruder is controlled, and leave the latter in the form of a finished bulk product.
