There are known installations for testing climatic or temperature conditions in the form of a chamber, case or cabinet with a testing space, the opening of which can be closed by a door or a cover with an outer panelling and an inner lining, between which an insulating layer is arranged. The inner lining is sealed with respect to a housing lining, bounding the testing space opening, by means of one or more seals. In order to design such installations for testing climatic and temperature conditions in such a way as to avoid wave formation, in particular in the region of the sealing surfaces between the housing lining, bounding the testing space opening, and the inner lining of the door and in such a way as to achieve a high degree of sealing between the door and housing, the inner lining of the door or of the cover consists of glass.
