PURPOSE:To prevent a bending moment from happening to a slider of thin type with light weight by loading dispersed loads onto lift generating surfaces of the slider correspondingly and making the titled device possess two degrees of freedom of rolling and pitching. CONSTITUTION:A supporting part 12 is fixed by spot welding, etc., with an end of a supporting part of a supporting member 4, where the supporting member 4 acts to transmit a force of a load working on a templet 9 to a templet 8 of a member 3. The member 4 is fixed at its supporting part 13 by spot welding, etc., with edges of a gimbal member 11 integrated wit a load bar, while the gimbal part 11 is possesses the degree of freedom of rolling because of its double lever mechanism. In other words, the titled slider supporting device is composed of the different members for rolling and pitching respectively. Consequently, a strong construction is feasible against a tensile strength at the time of contact, start and stop operations, whereas no bending moment due to the load is worked on the slider. By this method, a slider can be contrived to be thinner and lighter, while its following property can be improved.
