PURPOSE:To utilize a tank as a container and to improve stability by fixing the tanks having an openable/closable cover dismountably to the opposite broadsides of a vessel. CONSTITUTION:Containers (tanks) 4 having displaced volume are secured on the opposite broadsides of a vessel 1 dismountably through bolts. The tanks 4 are formed to have rectangular lateral cross-sections under secured condition with the height thereof decreasing gradually from the stern toward the bow and the bottom face thereof inclining upward toward the stern. A cover 40 is fixed openably/closably through hinges 41 on the upper face of the tank so as to provide an enclosed space. With such structure, material can be contained and taken out by closing and opening the cover 40, while inclined hull can be recovered through buoyancy of the tank 4 thus improving the stability.
