PURPOSE:To control a number of electromagnetic valves by branching and connecting a plurality of converting circuits individually or in parallel in a serial communication cable for transmitting serial signals. CONSTITUTION:From a serial signal output device 1 are wired a serial communication cable 2 to which are respectively branch connected a plurality of converting circuits 3 determined according to the number of electromagnetic valves 4. A plurality of electromagnetic valves 4 are connected in parallel to the respective converting circuits 3. The respective converting circuit 3 read the corresponding data of addresses from respective data blocks of serial signals to convert them to parallel signals corresponding to the respective electromagnetic valves 4. Even if one converting circuit 3 is failured, the other converting circuits can operate normally without be affected by any effects.
