Conveying system for sheet-like materials, such as leather, skins and the like, possesses at least two conveyor bands (3, 12). One of these is designed as a weighing band (12). The conveyor band (3) preceding the latter has a larger width than the weighing band (12) and runs perpendicularly to this. This permits a good incorporation of the weighing operating into the conveying operation. <IMAGE>
