PURPOSE:To cut a gate section of a molded product in a mold with good accuracy of shape by connecting an ultrasonic wave generating device to generate supersonic waves in the tangential direction of disc-gate-constituting component rotatable around a sprue as a center. CONSTITUTION:Resin injected is filled in a cavity 10 through a sprue 18 and a disc gate 17. After the resin is cooled down, a vibrator 14 is vibrated and amplified by a metal horn 15. Then said vibration is transmitted to an insert die 4 through a pin 16 and an arm 3 and becomes vibration in its tangential direction, and transferred to a molding sprue and disc through a whirl-stop channel 12. Then, shear stress is added to the gate section 17 by supersonic waves to break the gate section 17. Thus, the gate section of molding disc can be finished easily and neatly with good accuracy of shape in the mold. |
