PURPOSE:To provide a titled body with which high electrostatic chargeability and low residual potential characteristic are compatible and is less fluctuated in the electric characteristic by repetitive uses by forming an intermediate layer of a monomolecular film or accumulated monomolecular film of a high- polymer compd. CONSTITUTION:The intermediate layer of the electrophotographic sensitive body laminated with the intermediate layer, electric charge generating layer and charge transfer layer successively on a conductive substrate is formed of the monomolecular film or accumulated monomolecular film of the high- polymer compd. A method of forming the monomolecular film on, for example, a water surface and transferring this monomolecular film on the substrate is adopted to form the monomolecular film and accumulated monomolecular film of the high-polymer compd. on the conductive substrate. The photosensitive body which has the good electrostatic chargeability and low residual potential characteristic in combination, obviates a decrease in the charge potential and increase in the residual potential at the time of the repetitive uses in particular and exhibits the stable electric characteristics is thereby obtd. |
