PURPOSE:To aim at miniaturization of a device by using a V-belt type continuously variable transmission device, which includes a hydraulic servo mechanism, to operate the accessory of an automobile engine in such a manner that, when the engine speed is low, it is rotated at a high speed, while, when the engine speed is increased, it is decelerated. CONSTITUTION:When the engine speed is increased, a flyweight 5 is caused to press a holder 26 by the centrifugal force, and then, such force overcomes the spring force of a spring 8, so that a servo valve 6 moves back to cause the oil through 16 for a power piston 7 to be closed, and the supply of the engine oil to a power piston chamber 70 is cut off. When the valve 6 moves still further, oil in the piston chamber 70 fluxes into a drain chamber 33, and then sent to an oil pan by means of a discharge mechanism 20. Thereby, the pressure which has been applied to the piston 7 is lowered, and then, the piston 7 follows the valve 6 so that the oil through 16 is caused to close, and an oil through 17 is also caused to close. Hereupon, a slide pulley 3b is moved to the open side, and at the driven shaft side, a movable pulley is moved by virtue of a spring force in the closing direction. Therefore, an accessory is operated at a decelerated number of revolutions.
