Hot-melt adhesives characterized by oxidative crosslinking containing 30 to 100 parts by weight of polymers having crosslinking olefinic double bonds, 0 to 60 parts by weight of natural and/or other synthetic resins, 0 to 40 parts by weight of natural and/or synthetic waxes, 0.01 to 1.0 parts by weight of drying agents, and possibly ordinary protective agents against light and aging as well as fillers and pigments, and exhibiting improved adhesive strength and temperature resistance. The polymers contained therein consist of copolymers containing acid groups or ester groups formed from alpha -olefins on the one hand and olefins containing carboxyl groups on the other, whose acid or ester functions are esterified or transesterified at least partially with unsaturated fatty alcohols having an average from 12 to 20 carbon atoms and iodine values on average between 50 and 200 and/or with tricyclodecenols.
