<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the flow control in a communication network by counting data number sent consecutively from a sender terminal equipment to a sender exchange, restricting the data transmission when the count exceeds a prescribed number and starting the transmission of data again when a signal releasing the transmission restriction of the succeeding data arrives from a receiver side exchange. CONSTITUTION:An exchange 10 counts a data UUI sent from a terminal equipment 20 via a communication line. Thus, it is possible to limit the number of data UUI transferred to an exchange 30 to a transmission allowable number W(=2) or below and it is not required to provide a transmission number to the data UUI and complicated flow control by the comparison between the transmission number and the transmission allowable number is not required. Thus, the flow of data sent to a communication network is easily controlled.</p> |
