PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance and inspection of a scavenging tank by adopting the constitution in which the tank water in the scavenging tank is transferred by a transfer piping to a treated liquid supply tank. CONSTITUTION:The tank water in the scavenging tank 20 is force-fed to the treated liquid supply tank 9 via the transfer piping 29 by a scavenging pump 21 when a transfer valve 28 is opened. The transfer of the tank water from the tank 20 to the tank 15 is executed independently from the intrinsic operation of a transfer piping treatment device and, therefore, the degradation in the treatment efficiency is obviated and the need for a radiation source of the scavenging tank water is eliminated, by which the maintenance and inspection of the scavenging tank are facilitated.
