A microswitch assembly comprises a circuit board (1) having at least one microswitch element (e.g. 2) mounted on it, the or each microswitch element comprising a movable element (7) arranged for snap-action movement between a rest position and an operative position in which electrical contact is completed between respective portions of electrical circuits on the board (1). The assembly may comprise a joystick assembly having a control shaft extending through an aperture (18) in the circuit board, there being four switch elements (2, 3, 4, 5) mounted to the board (1) and arranged symmetrically around the aperture, so that the control shaft serves to actuate the switch elements selectively. |
