摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the productivity by rotating and feeding a guide pin and a cage into a bearing bush or by rotating and feeding a guide and a cage into a shaft together with forming spiral, fluid grooves simultaneously on the inner diameter of the bearing or on the outer diameter of the shaft in such a manner that the positions of the grooves are apart by a pitch of the tapered part. CONSTITUTION:A cage 11 is shifted in advance in the axial direction in such a manner that the position of a ball 4 is situated at the small diameter part of the tapered part 10a or 10b of a guide pin 10. Both guide pin 10 and cage 11 under this condition are inserted into a bearing bush 2. With the cage 11 shifted so that the ball 4 is situated at the large diameter part of the tapered part 10a or 10b, both guide pin 10 and cage 11 are fed in the axial direction. As a result, since the ball-to-ball distance becomes larger, fluid grooves 2a and 2b are formed at the same time on the inner diameter part of the bearing bush 2 in a manner that the positions of the grooves are apart from each other by a pitch of the tapered part in the axial direction. In this case, by adjusting the axial position of the cage 11 to the guide pin 10, the depth of the fluid grooves 2a and 2b can be adjusted. When the cage 11 is shifted to a position, where the ball 4 touches the outer periphery of the pin 10, the depth of the grooves 2a or 2b becomes maximum.
