PURPOSE:To improve operability by providing a cover which closes a cartridge room, an electrically-driven driving means for driving to close the cover and a control means for actuating the electrically-driven driving means by answering that the cover is moved from an opening state to a closing direction. CONSTITUTION:The cover 4 which closes the cartridge room 8c, the electrically- driven driving means for driving to close the cover 4 and the control means for actuating the electrically-driven driving means by answering that the cover 4 is moved from the opening state to the closing direction are provided in a camera where the leader part F of a film is drawn into the camera and wound to a spool 10 after the cartridge room 8c is closed in a state where the leader part F is left outside the camera. Therefore, the cover 4 is electrically driven to be closed and also the starting of driving is executed in an easy method related to the closing action of the cover such as the operation of the cover 4 in the closing direction. Thus, the operability can be improved.
