In a boat with a middle boat part, and two floats located parallel to both sides of it at a distance, the invention proposes that the floats (1) be hinged on the longitudinal sides of the middle boat part (2) by means of hinges (3a, 3b) so that they fold out and in about hinge axes (y-y) parallel to the boat's (10) longitudinal axis (x-x). In this way, the floats (1a, 1b) can be folded out from a folded transport position in the middle part (2) of the boat (10) to the sides of the middle boat part (2) by 180@ into a sailing or floating position. <IMAGE>
