PURPOSE:To improve reproductivity of colors and to shorten an exposing time by irradiating a color sensitive recording medium which colors in plural colors corresponding to plural wavelength light so as to make the recording medium expose corresponding to the respective colors. CONSTITUTION:The light with wavelength lambda1 and lambda2 and lambda3 to which all the microcapsules 2C, 2M and 2Y are sensitive irradiates light sensitive pressure sensitive recording paper 2 through an intermediate sheet 10N as an image bearing body for pre-exposing as much as light quantity necessary for pre- exposure. After that, the intermediate sheets 10C, 10M and 10Y for cyanegen, magenta and yellow are sequentially used to radiate specified quantities of lights with wavelength lambda1, lambda2 and lambda3 by which the respective microcapsules are photo set. And the capsules 2C, 2M and 2Y are photo set corresponding to the exposing light and colored. Thus, the pre-exposing time when a photochemistrical action is started and coloring is executed can be shortened and the reproductivity of colors can be improved and also the entire exposing time can be shortened.
