发明名称 BRIGHTNESS DISTRIBUTION MEASURING APPARATUS
摘要 PURPOSE:To detect a structure parameter of an axis matching end face part of an optical fiber accurately, by condensing lighting of a sample with an axis in such a direction as not to disturb a brightness distribution scanning to achieve a higher level of brightness. CONSTITUTION:A lens 1b is so arranged behind a light source 1a to make a luminous flux parallel as generated from the light source 1a. A cylindrical lens 2 is provided at a position where to allow reception of the parallel light. The cylindrical lens 2 is so arranged as to be orthogonal to the axis of the parallel light and a sample along the long axis thereof that the parallel light is condensed in the direction of the axis as mentioned above. Lighting of the sample with an axis is performed by the luminous flux condensed to detect a brightness distribution of the sample by an image detecting means 5. An image of the sample is taken into an image observing element 5a through an objective lens to be observed with a monitor TV5b. Thus, a CPU analyzes brightness distributions of samples 3 and 4 in comparison on the monitor TV5b through a controller, thereby recognizing a relative position between the samples 3 and 4.
