PURPOSE:To fit two members to be fitted with the 180 deg. symmetry to perform the welding by directing the direction of the members to be fitted by rotating it by 180 deg. with respect to the fitting direction at the time of welding with the air flow jetted from an air blowing means after rotating a work stand by about 180 deg.. CONSTITUTION:After a first fitting pin 5A is welded to a cathode sleeve 2, the work stand 7 rotates by about 180 deg. in the clockwise direction and the high- pressure air is blown from the side against the cathode sleeve 2 from a nozzle 12 with the prescribed timing. As a result, the direction of the first fitting pin 5A is made to the direction which is rotated by >=180 deg. with respect to the direction at the time of welding. Next,when one more second fitting pin 5A which is welded afterwards is supplied, a regulating guide 13 which is advancing with respect to the work stand 7 integrally with a punch 22 presses the second fitting pin. Then, its direction is regulated to the direction which is made to the point symmetry by 180 deg. with the direction at the time of welding and the welding of the second fitting pin is performed in a regulated state.
