PURPOSE:To judge a callee by a call tone, by designating different ringing patterns corresponding to extension numbers attached on an individual user, and receiving a call by a corresponding ringing pattern for an incoming call by the extension number. CONSTITUTION:An extension telephone terminal B is allocated for two common users X and Y, and the extension number of the user X is designated as 'XXX' and that of the user Y as 'YYY', and a ringing delivery program is stored in a main memory device. Thus, the different ringing patterns corresponding to the extension numbers attached on the individual user are designated, and the incoming call is received by the corresponding ringing pattern when it arrives by the extension number. In such a way, it is possible to recognize the callee out of the common users of the extension telephone terminal even from a remote place.
