PURPOSE:To enhance the deposition efficiency in powder coating by powder- coating the inner surface of the side seam part of a can while transferring the can so that the interval between adjacent cans is substantially diminished to 0mm. CONSTITUTION:A powder paint 10 is injected from the powder coating nozzle 8 housed in a horn 7 onto the inner surface of the side seam part 5 of the can 6 while transferring the can 6 so that the interval (x) between adjacent cans is substantially diminished to 0mm, and the powder paint 10 charged by a corona pin 9 is electrostatically coated. As a result, the deposition efficiency in powder coating is enhanced, the outer surfaces in the vicinity of both ends of the side same part are not contaminated by the deposited powder paint, hence the commercial value of the product is not diminished, and a powder paint recovery device of a complicated mechanism including a filter, etc., can be dispensed with.
