PURPOSE:To simultaneously perform multi-stage printing of a liquid crystal and obtain a liquid crystal printed matter having an excellent finished surface, by using a liquid crystal applying tank having a bottom part opened and the interior partitioned into a plurality of chambers and a suction drum for feeding a printing paper. CONSTITUTION:The printing paper 31 is set onto the suction drum 1, and the condition of setting a pressure roller 15 against the paper 31 is so adjusted that a bottom part (an applying port 23a) of the applying tank 21 is brought into close contact with the paper 31. The liquid crystal contained in each of the partitioned chambers 23 of the tank 21 is made to flow onto the paper 31 moved along the drum 1 being rotated, whereby the liquid crystal 32 is applied onto the paper 31 in a predetermined thickness simultaneously in plural stages. |
