PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts to be adjusted and that of components, by providing a first switch which selects a signal phase-shifted or the one not phase-shifted by a phase shift circuit, and a second switch which selects the signal delayed or not delayed by a delay circuit. CONSTITUTION:Filters 5 and 6 which separate a chrominance signal component and a luminance signal component from a video signal, a first circuit 41 to which the chrominance signal component is inputted, a second circuit 42 to which the output of the first circuit 41 is inputted, and an adder circuit 15 which adds the output of the second circuit 42 on the luminance signal component are provided. Either the first circuit 41 or the second circuit 42 is provided with the phase shift circuit 8 which applies the phase shift on an inputted signal, and the first switch 1 which selects the signal phase-shifted or the signal not phase-shifted by the phase shift circuit 8, and the other of the first or second circuits is provided with the delay circuit 42 which delays the inputted signal by 1H, and and the second switch 2 which selects the signal H delayed by the delay circuit 42 or the signal not delayed by the circuit. In such a way, it is possible to reduce the number of the parts to be adjusted and that of the components, and to reduce color flicker with simple constitution and at low cost.
