PURPOSE:To improve the yield of product by arranging an induction coil around a mold and stirring molten metal in the mold with electromagnetic force by conducting electric current to the coil. CONSTITUTION:The metallic flask 7 of the mold 1 is formed by nonmagnetic metal and the induction coil 8 wound around the metallic flask 7 is arranged. A sprue 3 and runner 4' having simple construction in the mold 1 are arranged and low frequency power with 1.5-20Hz is supplied to the induction coil 8 from power source 9, and the molten metal is poured from the sprue 3. When the molten metal poured in the mold 1 is solidified, the electromagnetic force is generated from the coil 8 toward the coil center and the stirring action is generated in the molten metal. By this method, the molten metal temp. during solidified process is uniformized, and solidification in center part containing impurity and gas at last time is prevented. Further, as feeder head, special runner, etc., is not necessary, the yield of the product is improved.
