The bearing assembly comprises a shaft (3) and a bearing (6) surrounding the shaft (3) accommodated in a housing (7) containing lubricating oil, the shaft (3) having an axial bore (31) and a transverse bore (32) which communicate with an oil chamber (30) adjacent the end of the shaft (3). The oil chamber (30) is divided by separating means (33) into a rotation chamber (34) and a second chamber (35) so that the lubricating oil, passing from the bearing (6) via duct (51) and rotating channels (48) to the rotation chamber (34), is deposited by the separating means comprising a horizontal partition (36), an opening in the partition and an angle guide plate into the chamber (35) from which it passes via a tube (40) into the axial bore (31) and the transverse bore (32). <IMAGE> |
