PURPOSE:To effectively save power consumption due to the battery saving by selecting the time supplying power to a transmitter-receiver to relay a signal from a base station to a time required for sending a signal from the base station to a slave station. CONSTITUTION:The power from a power supply 6 is supplied to a 1st receiver 11 and a 1st transmitter 13 via a 1st switch means 10 and the power from the power supply 6 is supplied to a 2nd transmitter 23 and a 2nd receiver 21 via a 2nd switch means 20. In the standby state when the slave station awaits an incoming signal from the base station, since the relay station does not receive a signal from the slave station, the power is supplied to the 2nd transmitter 23 during the period of BS-off but no signal is sent, the power amplifier circuit included in the 2nd transmitter 23 is the class C operation, then the power of the 2nd transmitter 23 is far less than the power of the 1st transmitter 13. |
