PURPOSE:To miniaturize the titled cavity by providing a 2nd cavity resonator to an inner conductor of a reentrant cavity resonator to integrate two resonators, thereby reducing the number of components for the titled electron storage ring. CONSTITUTION:A power of 0.1-several MW at 50-500MHz is supplied from exciting loops 5, 10 to excite cavity resonators 2, 8, causing an electromagnetic waves to be resonated in the resonators 2, 8, resulting that electrons circulated in a beam duct 1 are accelerated by an acceleration electromagnetic field caused in acceleration gaps 4, 9. In such a case, the amplitude, phase information of the electromagnetic field excited in the cavity resonators 2, 8 is obtained by pickups 7, 12 placed in the electromagnetic field. Moreover, resonance frequency adjusting mechanisms 6, 11 are moved to adjust the resonance frequency. Thus, the number of components of the electron storage ring storing a large current stably is reduced, thereby reducing the size.
