PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in coating film properties, appearance, corrosion resistance, weathering resistance and stain resistance, by mixing a specified polyester resin with a vinyl copolymer and a (uretedione bond-containing) (non)blocked isocyanate. CONSTITUTION:10-95wt.% at least one (beta-methyl)glycidyl group-containing vinyl monomer selected from among (beta-methyl)glycidyl (meth)acrylates is copolymerized with 0-89.99wt.% copolymerizable vinyl monomer (e.g., styrene) and 0.01-10wt.% P-containing vinyl monomer of the formula (wherein R1 is H or methyl, R2-3 are each H, a 1-8C alkyl, a 6-10C aryl or a 7-12C aralkyl and A is a 1-14C alkylene) to obtain a vinyl copolymer (B) of a number- average MW of 300-8,000, having (beta-methyl)glycidyl groups and P. 60-96pts.wt. polyester resin (A) of an acid number of 5-100mgKOH/g, a hydroxyl number of 5-100mgKOH/g, a number-average MW of 1,000-10,000 and a softening point of 80-150 deg.C is mixed with 3-40pts.wt. component B and 1-20pts.wt. (uretedione bond-containing) (non)blocked isocyanate (C).
