PURPOSE:To control intensity of cooling to longitudinal direction and in cross section in a mold by arranging an electromagnetic coil for electromagnetic stirring approaching to the faced two surfaces of the mold and arranging water supplying boxes providing the spray nozzle as facing to the faced other two surface of the mold. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water is supplied to the water supplying box 6 from water supplying pipe 12 and atomized between the mold tube 1 from spraying nozzles 8 and the electromagnetic coil 5 to cool the mold tube 1 facing to the electromagnetic coil 5. On the other hand, by atomizing the water to the mold tube 1 at facing side to the water supplying box 6 from spray nozzles 9 to cool the mold tube 1. The water is collected into a water collecting box 11 after atomizing from the spray nozzles 8, 9 and cooling the mold tube 1, and drained to out of system from a drain-pipe 13. By this method, improving effect of metallurgical quality caused by the electromagnetic stirring and cooling intensity to the longitudinal direction and in the cross section in the mold are controlled.
