<p>The blue. The signals are fed to a processor (22). The copy paper (24), which has a non-absorbent white matt surface, is rapped around a second drum (25) which rotates on the same axis as the first. The processor output signals (1 to 4) which are proportional to the cyan, magenta, yellow and black content of the image are fed via a multiplexing switch to the print head (23). The print head ejects spots of transparent ink onto the copy paper. The appearance, to the naked eye of any area on the copy depends on the density, combination and relative positions of the ink-spots.</p> |
