PURPOSE:To completely prevent the occurrence of gas leak, by a method wherein, upon receipt of a signal from a cock switch, an ignition device is energized, gas in a gas flow passage and a pressure chamber is ignited through opening of a device plug, and a signal from a switch is received to open a solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION:With a device plug 3 opened, a cock switch 4 is made in linkage with opening of the device plug 3, and a voltage is generated at a connection line to a control circuit 15 and an ignition device 6. A high voltage current is fed to an ignition head 17 by means of the ignition device 6, and through reduction of a residual pressure stored in a gas flow passage 1a and a chamber 8 of a pressure chamber 10 and a gas pressure in the chamber 8 of the pressure chamber 10, a piston 12 is moved through the elastic force of a spring 11, gas flows from a burner 5, and the flowing gas is ignited. Combustion of gas resulting from the ignition is perceived by a combustion sensitive switch 7 to output a signal. The signal is received by a power unit 16 to open a solenoid valve 2, gas is fed from the gas feed side to the gas flow passage 1a, and is fed to the burner 5 to continue flow combustion. With the device plug 3 closed, the cock switch 4 is brought into a closed state, and the solenoid valve 2 is closed. |
