PURPOSE:To maintain a stable combustion state by means of a combustion part, by a method wherein the combustion part is formed of a cylindrical porous material, a flow uniformizing cylinder having a flow uniforming space and a multihole is situated inside the combustion part, a close plate is located in a manner to cover a part in a radial direction of the combustion part, and at least a part of the porous material covered with the closing plate is brought into film contact with the flow uniformizing cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A combustion part 1 is a total primary combustion burner where a wire net 3 is slidably mounted to the outside of a flow uniformizing cylinder 2 of a punching plate having a number of pores to form a burner port. A closing plate 11 is situated in a manner to cover a part in a radial direction of the wire net 3, end parts 12 and 13 of the closing plate 11 are brought into firm contact with the wire net 3 of a porous material, and the flow uniformizing cylinder 2 makes contact with the wire net 3 which is protruded at partial parts 14 and 15 being a firm contact part. Since flame is not formed to the combustion part 1 covered with the closing plate 11, the combustion part is kept at a low temperature. Since the flow uniformizing cylinder 2 is brought into firm contact with the combustion part 1, the heat of the combustion part 1 is transferred to the flow uniforming cylinder 2. Since a stress produced due to temperature expansion is absorbed by a low temperature part and the flow uniformizing cylinder 2, a stress does not remain in the radial direction of the combustion part of a porous material formed by a wire net and the like, combustion part is prevented from worsening combustion characteristics due to deformation and crack, and a stable combustion state is maintained by the combustion part 1.
