PURPOSE:To increase the speed of label accumulating work, by transferring labels from a separating position to an accumulating position in a rotated and sucked state by the separating member of a separating mechanism while discharging strip like waste by a discharge mechanism and accumulating the labels on the mount member of an accumulating part in parallel. CONSTITUTION:When a strip like material 1 to be printed wherein labels W are punched is sent to a separating position 10, the front end part of each of the labels W enters a receiving groove 18, and a suction hole 22 communicates with a piercing slot 20 and the back surface of the leading end part of each of the labels W is sucked to the outer peripheral surface of the separating member 17 of a separating mechanism 9 through a connection port 19 and a communication passage 21 and the labels W are rotated and transferred from the separating position 10 to an accumulating position 33 while sucked by the rotation of the separating member 17 and the strip like waste 44 from which the labels W are taken is discharged by a discharge mechanism 42. The connection of the piercing slot 20 of a fixing member 16 and the suction hole 22 of the separating member 17 is cut at the accumulating position 33 and the lower end of each of the labels W is brought into contact with the upper surface of a comb-tooth part 40 and separated from the outer peripheral surface of the separating member 17 to be warped and erected while the labels W are mounted on the mount member 37 of an accumulating part 32 to be held by a prescribing member 41 and the prescribing member 41 is pushed and retracted by the labels W to make it possible to accumulate the labels W in parallel in the longitudinal direction. By this method, separating and feed mechanisms can be simplified and the speed of accumulating work can be increased.
