WALL LINING METHOD FOR MOLTEN METAL CONTAINER

PURPOSE:To extend the service life of a wall lining body by forming small holes of specified dimension over the whole face on the external wall of the inner frame for wall lining and filling up a casting material through this small hole with vibration into the gap among the coarse aggregates of refractory materials. CONSTITUTION:Small holes 15 of 6-10mm phi are provided completely equally on the external wall 3 of the inner frame 13 for execution. A coarse aggregate 9 is first inputted to the bottom part of a molten metal container 1 and subjected to tamping. The inner frame 13 for inner lining is placed thereon, the coarse aggregate 9 is further inputted to the gap between the permanent lining 2 of the container 1 and inner frame 13 and closely packed with the excitation by a vibrator 5. A casting material 10 is then inputted to the hollow part of the inner frame 13 from a material inputting chute 8 to exert further vibration. The casting material 10 is thus filled up in the gap of the coarse aggregate 9 from the small hole 15 of the inner frame external wall 3. Due to the packing rate of the coarse aggregate 9 being increased the service life of the inner lining executing body is extended.
