PURPOSE:To restrain irregular color, etc., of surface caused by developing rust on a lead sheet by coating oxidizing-inhibitor on the surface of the lead sheet at the time of winding the lead sheet to a reel by the directly sheet continuous casting. CONSTITUTION:At the time of producing the DM lead sheet by the directly sheet continuous casting, the surface of the lead sheet is shut out from the air or the lead sheet is wound so that the gap between the lead sheets is kept in constant. It is desirable that the lead sheet is wound to the reel while coating the oxidizing-inhibitor, such as oil, resin, vanish, on the surface of the lead sheet or while inserting spacer, such as cotton cloth, kraft paper between the lead sheets. By this method, the development of irregular color, etc., during storing the coil, is prevented.
