PURPOSE:To obtain a satisfactory recording preservability by laminating a colored element layer to absorb a silver particle layer and near-infrared rays. CONSTITUTION:An optical recording member 1 is formed by laminating a coloring matter layer 4 containing a coloring matter absorbing near-infrared rays and a silver particle layer 3 on a base film 2. When the layer 3 is blackened by an exposing development and a semiconductor laser is radiated from the layer 4 side, the shape of the irradiating part is changed. When irradiating energy density is less than 3-4mW/5muphi, it is changed to a concave like irradiating parts B and C and when it is more than that, the shape is changed to a convex like A. In many times irradiating of a weak energy, the change of the convex type is not generated and a temporary energy is needed to the change. On the other hand, when the layer is not blackened, like the irradiating part C, the concave part is formed only and when the change of the convex type is generated and detected with a reading light, an optical recording can be used. Thus, a satisfactory recording preservability can be obtained. |
