PURPOSE:To reduce bending quantity and an installation area and, further, to facilitate the getting-on of a patient, by respectively sliding at least three outside ends among four outside ends of an X-shape link supporting upper and lower frames to the upper and lower frames. CONSTITUTION:One outside end 31 among four outside ends 31, 32, 33, 34 of an X-shape link is fixed to a lower frame 20 and three other outside ends 32, 33, 34 are respectively pivotally supported in a slidable manner by upper and lower frames 10, 20 and, between two outside ends 32, 33 and the upper frame 10, drive means 40, 50 for respectively sliding the outside ends 32, 33 are provided. By this constitution, since the upper and lower frames 10, 20 can be relatively raised, lowered and slid in a vertical direction, the distances from the outside ends of the X-shape link 30 supporting the upper frame 10 to an X-ray surface are reduced to reduce the bending of a top plate. Since the upper frame 10 can be moved up and down along the shape (cover shape) of a scanner main body, an installation area can be suppressed low. Further, since the X- shape link 30 is used, a bed is lowered to make it possible to easily make a patient get thereon.
