PURPOSE:To reduce an occupying area, lower a cost, and reduce limitation on selecting a route in the captioned device for traversingly switching over plural line passages by providing an advancing passage switchover device and a returning passage switchover device overlappedly up and down on the same line. CONSTITUTION:A line switchover device C consists of each two short pipes (p), (p) and is formed by providing an advancing passage switchover device C1 and a returning passage switchover device C2 connected to advancing passages T1, T2 and returning passages R1, R2 respectively, up and down. The two advancing passages T1, T2 and two returning passages R1, R2 are separately laid up and down so as to be connected to the advancing passage switchover device C1 and returning passage switchover device C2 respectively in the vicinity of the route switchover device C. And, the short pipes (p), (p) of each device C1, C2 are horizontally slided to carry out the switchover of the advancing passages T1, T2 and the returning passages R1, R2.
