PURPOSE:To obtain mullite based ceramic printed circuit board having high strength and low dielectric constant and consisting of sintered material of silica and IIIa inorganic oxide each contained in a prescribed amount and remaining mullite and providing conductor circuit on the surface of the board, and green sheet for the above-mentioned circuit board. CONSTITUTION:The above-mentioned circuit board consists of sintered material composed of 5-30wt.% silica, 1-5wt.% periodic table IIIa group inorganic oxide and remainder of mullite and a conductor circuit is provided at least on the surface thereof. Further, the circuit board is obtained by forming a conductor circuit using a conductor paste such as Mo or W by a printing method on the green sheet molded by blending an organic binder into a mixture consisting of each <=0.4wt.% (in terms of MgO or CaO) inorganic compounds of Mg and Ca and remainder of mullite in addition to the above-mentioned components and heating and sintering the board. According to the above- mentioned invention, an electronic device having fast signal transmitting speed and high reliability can be provided, because a printed circuit board having low dielectric constant and high strength is obtained. |
