<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the reverse insertion of a cassette size detecting plate and accurately distinguish the size of a sheet of paper by forming a bent part for preventing reverse insertion on the end edge part on the side on which a detecting part is not formed of the cassette size detecting plate. CONSTITUTION:In order to install a detecting plate 332 on a cassette case 354, with a detecting part 332a downside, inserting parts 332c, 332d on both ends are inserted into an inserting groove 354d and the plate 332 is strongly pressed. Thereby, the detecting part 332a is lowered until it is brought into contact with a groove bottom part 354f and positioned. Since the back of the base part 332b of the inserted detecting plate 332 is attracted to rubber magnet tapes 359 due to magnetism while being closely attached to and pressed against them by elasticity, the detecting plate 332 can be securely held without falling at the time of installing/removing a paper feeding cassette 30. Even if the detecting plate 332 is about to be reversely inserted with the detecting part 332a upward by mistake, a reverse insertion preventing bent part 332e hinders and the plate 332 is unable to be inserted into the inserting groove 354d, thereby, preventing the detecting plate to be reversely inserted in error.</p> |
