PURPOSE:To make a transferred strip body so as to be surroundable through a cylindrical body in a noncontact state by setting up a lot of exhaust slit holes and suction slit ones, extending in the axial direction, on an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body opened with an air supply port at one end and an air exhaust port at the other end alternately in the circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:The air fed out of an air supply port 2 is jetted out of an exhaust slit hole 5 via an air flow distributing mechanism, and it is inhaled from the adjacently installed suction slit hole 6, then made so as to be discharged out of an air exhaust port 3. Consequently, if a strip material such as a film or the like is surrounded through a cylindrical body 1, an air flow layer flowing toward the suction slit hole 6 from the exhaust slit hole 3 is formed on the circumference of the cylindrical body 1, so that the film surrounded through the cylindrical body is accurately holdable in a noncontact state. In addition, each air flow distributing mechanism is formed in both these exhaust and suction slit holes 5 and 6 and thereby air flow distribution in each slit direction is uniformized by air flow distributing ribs 7 and 9 so that there is no pressure gradient, thus the film surrounded through the cylindrical body is kept in the noncontact state.
