PURPOSE:To obtain a plastic magnet composition having excellent thermal and mechanical characteristics and low mold shrinkage and linear expansion coefficient, etc., by adding a specific amount o a powdery magnet to an aromatic polyester having a specific structure. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be produced by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of an aromatic polyester composed of (A1) 40-70mol.% of a unit of formula I (X is H, 1-4C alkyl, etc.), (A2) 1-8mol.%. of a unit of formula II (Y is -O-, etc.), (A3) 6-36mol.% of a unit of formula III and IV, (A4) 10-40mol.% of a unit of formula V and (A5) 0.1-10mol.% of a unit of formula VI (Z1 is -NH-; Z2 is -NH-, -O-, etc.) wherein the molar ratio of (unit III)/(unit III + unit IV) is 0.1-0.8 with (B) 100-1,900pts.wt., preferably 400-1,150pts.wt. of a powdery magnet (e.g. ferrite magnet powder) having a particle diameter of 0.1-100mum. |
