PURPOSE:To enable a user to instantly judge the used amount of the storage capacity of an external storage device or its remaining amount by constituting an information processor which processes information by using said external storage device so that the used amount used for storage or its remaining amount are displayed in an analog display means. CONSTITUTION:A system is constituted of a personal computer main body 1 for processing information, a keyboard 2 as an input means, and a cathode-ray tube 3 to display various kinds of processed data. In the main body 1, a floppy disk driver 4 is incorporated which is used as the external storage device to process information. In such a constitution, a sectorial display window 11 having 90 deg. angle is provided in the vicinity of the driver 4, and at the inside of this window 11, a display device 5 to display, in terms of analog, the amount of the capacity of disk storage capacity of a storage medium loaded in the driver 4 or its remaining amount. The display device 5 is constituted of a display disk 54 for display which is fixed to an output shaft 52 of a pulse motor 51, and the quarter 90 deg. angular area of the disk 54 is exposed through the display window 11 to let the user view from the external.
