PURPOSE:To monitor the extent an iron core block is loosened and to prevent accident from occurring, by measuring the stress or elonation of a through bolt with a strain gauge or an optical distance sensor. CONSTITUTION:An armature iron core presses fingers 1a and 1b on both end faces of an armature iron core 1 laminated with numerous pieces of thin silicon steel plate with press-rings 3a and 3b. It is formed by fastening with a through bolt 4 penetrating these press-rings 3a and 3b and passing through the back section on the outside circumference of the armature iron core 1. A strain gauge 6 is fitted to this through bolt 4. The surface pressure of the armature iron core is estimated from the distortion quantity as shown in this strain gauge, by which it is detected to what an extent the iron core is loosened. With an optical range finder the distance between press-rings can be measured, from which the surface pressure of the armature iron core could well be estimated. |
